What trucking company is good to work for?

I hoping to start cdl training in a little over a week. I have been reading a lot of the post about bad companies on this forum. A lot seem to be posted back when the economy was tanking and things slowed way down. My brother is on the road now and making decent pay. My question is the same as truckerguy90. Now that the economy has gotten a tad bit better, are there any companies previously listed as bad that have gotten better. I am paying for the cdl training as I did not want to be tied into a company for a year. The recruiter for the training class has ask me which company I might want to go to work for. I had no ready answer for him. I was thinking Stevens,Knight,Werner,CFI, until I started reading these threads. I will probably be needing answer soon. Anything good to say about any company? I live in Texas if that makes a difference.
