What Trucking Company Should I Go with

He's with them but he's leasing his truck instead of being a company driver. They are not any harder on new drivers than they are anyone. One week orientation, 5 wks with a trainer (home either weekly or every other week depending on where your trainer lives), and additional week of securement training then off in your own truck. Many do not like that they tarp most loads.

Know 2 teams who just left that place. Terrible place to work. Low miles & junk equipment.

 

I know his lowest mile week was 1500 but his truck had been in the shop most of that week. Can't remember mile average and too lazy to pull out pay stubs. His checks were mostly $800-1200 take home. Was even better when mpg bonuses came around and he was receiving tuition reimbursement too.

Not sure what you mean. If you mean how long was he out between hometimes, he was home every weekend except one mth that he chose to stay out all month. On the other hand if you meant how long was he down when his truck broke down, he was down for 3 days but was home that weekend too.
