what type of cdl to drive this kind of straight truck?

    MI is the same way. Class A is for Combo vehicles over x pounds (too lazy to look it up, but likely 26,001 GVWR) and if you are in commerce you need a chauffeur endorsement.

    I seem to recall another thread around here about an O/O who found out people in her (his?) area were using pickup trucks w/horse trailers to run freight. Without authority, CDLs or insurance. Started as farmers/ranchers looking for backhauls & side work but it became such a big deal they began to undercut freight rates in the area.
