What type of trailer is this?

    My father drove these when he started with Richfield and they called them elephant butt trailers. They were made from steel so they're heavier than today's trailers but they would hold different amounts ranging from 5000 to 7000 gallons. You need to either weigh the trailer or get the unloaded weight from the tag that on the trailer somewhere (or should be).

    There were always a couple of "stunt doubles" back before special effects were as sophisticated as today I believe.

    Funny thing...every once in a while, if I'm headed up a hill either empty or lightly-laden, I'll remember that line:

    "You can't catch me on the grade...YOU CAN'T CATCH ME ON THE GRADE!!"

    Then they go flyin' by me down the hill....
