It seems that shippers and receivers that deal with flatbed freight want you to show up to pick up or offload their freight.....dry van seems to be hit or miss depending on the freight......more than a few times I'm sitting at a shippers dock and they load the freight as it comes off the production line....and I try my best to stay away from grocery DC's...too much wait time, just a couple of examples. I really appreciate the advice....it certainly helps in considering our next move.
