Hi there,
Just wondering if anyone knows some good companies that hire and sponsor experienced truck drivers from Canada. I do long haul and drive both U.S and Canada. I have 7 years of commercial experience and have driven every corner of North America. I love the U.S. and would love to hear any knowledge you might have of potential employers! Thanks!!
What U.S. trucking companies sponsor Canadian truckers?

I was under the impression Canadian truckers could only go back and forth, not being able to move freight within the states.
Check out Sergei dratchev on YouTube. -
The last time I was in a truck stop it looked, and smelled like a UN refugee camp, clearly foreign drivers are getting hired somehow.

I used to work for Heyl transport and they do have a Canadian division. Though, I'm not sure the ins and outs of it how it works and so on. I used to pick up an international load (temp controlled by the way) in Laredo and take up north, I would relay with a c-truck and he would finish it off going into Canada. He lived in Canada, and drove in both countries. I can also say that I've spoken to several Canadians on the border of Mexico that were picking up loads and heading back, so I don't think they are restricted in U.S. driving. Hope that helps. Heyl was a pretty decent outfit when I was there, but way to much Tyson loads for me. I've also heard they have put driver facing cameras in, though I do not know if that's true or if there are only some folks like new, made an error or whatever that get that, but ugh.. no. That's reefer, which I do, but I know conway, or cfi, or whatever they are this week pulls a lot of dry goods in and out of Canada. You can also look at food grade tanker companies like Reynolds nationwide out of San Antonio. They pick up bulk Tequila and run it to Canada. But as I remember they just had one or two drivers that did that, I was on milk and molasses. But I would look at refer companies hauling fruit, as a start. Good luck!!

Pick up freight in Canada deliver somewhere in USA,then find freight and deliver back to Canada.
No freight movement between states. -
I mess up those American border guards sometimes when you get the odd one that's paying attention. I'm an American citizen but I've lived in Canada for a number of years so sometimes when I roll up in a Canadian truck and hand them an American passport they get a bit confused and have a slew of questions.
