They paid great. The company I worked for got 1500$ a load on 300mi. That's all we did, pretty much like running empty all the timeLepton1, DeepSouthRollin, x1Heavy and 2 others Thank this.

Yep, I hauled apple juice from the ports in Delaware to Florida I think it was. Came in on a ship from South America. Huge plastic totes lined down the center of the trailer. If I remember correctly, they only loaded 12 of them because of the weight.Farmerbob1, Brickwall, DeepSouthRollin and 1 other person Thank this.

I've done the BMC loads. You never know about them.
The company I used to work for had a contract with a small company in Cleveland,OH. Every Friday afternoon, they would have a truck to run down to Florida for Monday morning. They paid by the truck.
I backed in and started to settle down, waiting for the loading to start. I could feel someone walking up to the front of the trailer. I assumed they were checking the roof, looking for leaks. Five minutes later the guy was at my door with the bills. The load was one Xerox box of office paperwork.Farmerbob1, TaterWagon#62, Brickwall and 5 others Thank this. -
Did they tip ??TaterWagon#62, Lepton1, DeepSouthRollin and 4 others Thank this.

There is a Alpo dog food plant not far from Allentown just to the north and west of there for your pleasure, something like 5 to a layer 12 layers to a pallet. Double stacked. 48 pallets.
by the time you get through restacking onto small wood you are around between 95 to 106 pallets.
If I ever see another red Alpo dog bag...DeepSouthRollin Thanks this.
