What was your job before trucking? And After?

Printing press operator and copier repairman.

 

I spent the last eleven years in law enforcement with two of those as a detective in sex crimes. Got a bit burnt out on the work and the bosses and I'm going to driving school soon.

 

Cable Guy! 8 years, 4 months with Comcast.

 

I have pretty much been just a truck driver. I worked landscaping when I was in high school and the first year out of school. I also did electrical work in the winter when I wasnt plowing. Then I got my first job driving for a lumber yard when I was 20, I didnt start driving there till I was 21 because we went out of state. Just moved too PA, was gonna get my class A and do OTR. Think now im gonna stay local and with my class B. Might have a job with Waste Management driving roll off, still waiting to here from them. I also have an interview for driving a tri-axle hauling coal. Truck driving has been, and will continue to be my career and life.

 

I am a naturopathic physician from Germany where I had my own clinic for cancer therapy.

 

Wow. What made you leave to come here and be a truck driver?

 

Well for me it was all about getting out of the factory,toolmaker for 25 years and the army reserves for 28 just retired in june,lovin it!!

 

I was an electronics engineer in the telecommunications industry for many years, and a High School teacher for two years before coming into the trucking industry.

 

i was a basket weaver at longaberger basket in dresden ohio.

 

I work for a company that does building material/sand & gravel sales. Running primarily transfer dumps and flatbeds. Did counter sales and work around the yard (all relating to customer service) for 7 years. Decided to get my license and get in a truck for a while. Loving it so far, there is already talk of me going into dispatch.
