i have just as much trouble with the profesional ?????? truck driver. running the construction speed limit on i35 waco to dfw 14'2" wide trucks trying to pass in the const. zone. was being escorted in oh. 4 wheeler almost hit me head on looking back at my pilot car. i guess he was trying to figure out what the nut in the car with all the lights, flags, and sign was doing in the middle of the road.
What were the car drivers thinking?

DRIVERS DON'T CARE.All they see a semi as a vehicle with 18 wheels. They have no clue. Now the smarter 4 wheelers usually know what you're going to do and have patience.IO think some of the four wheelers delibrately do stupid stuff in hopes a semi hits them so they can get a new car out of the deal.

Even having police escorts do not help..
They slam on the brakes when they see the lights blocing the road for you to get by.
I've had people go around my pilot cars and yes even the police.
Gotta love them..
You put out a stop sign with a flagger in their safety vest and the idiots will trying and come around.
Even have had big trks. do it to me also.aiwiron Thanks this. -

Do not even get me started on truck drivers, they pass right beside the load more than once, a few years ago was cussed by a driver because he had to change lanes.

Florida is the land of insurance fraud, you are correct that if they even think they can get the 10k for the personal injury protection they carry you are a rolling target.

Nope, truckers get a pass on this.

Moved an 18' wide piece from Youngstown,Oh to Cleveland,Oh. had to run some 2 lane. Had 2 escorts plus a Trooper. 18 wheeler refused to move over for me(plenty of paved berm) the Trooper had to force the Bonehead off the mainline. It's amazing what you encounter some days.

I hauled oversize in the new england states for the past 2 years and I have learned to be just as stupid as the rest of them. I own the road and you are in my way is the only way to do it. I've been number 1 so often I don't even bother looking at em anymore. Trust me u yell or swerve at my pilot car it's the ditch for u. I give what I get
