see what I mean....if you have had your CDL since 2008 AND have been "driving ever since", why the need for C-1 and USA Truck? I'm not going to entertain this any further.....you have proved my theory, thank you![]()
what will happen if you get abandonment of equipment on your DAC?

While most of us appreciate your military service and don't doubt your driving skills your attitude more than anything will limit your potential .
-
It's not about bashing you, it's about correcting misguided information. CR England does NOT issue CDLs, so they cannot 'take them back'. What they CAN do is sue the driver for the cost of the tuition of the CDL school. If the driver does not pay the tuition it will go against his credit score.
What do they mean by not being able to use your CDL for 3 years?
With a mark like truck abandonment on your DAC, no company that uses DAC will hire you -- rendering your CDL useless. -
Do you know how many carriers are out there that don't use DAC ? The CDL is far from useless . What is useless is companies that use DAC when considering potential employersanncates14 Thanks this.

Well if you read it on here it must be true.....Ghost Ryder Thanks this.

To the OP....your husband should do himself and his family a favor and get as far away from CRE as he can. He's still in training so there isn't anything they can put on his DAC. If they do he can successfully fight it and have it removed. Don't believe the nonsense on here about not being able to use his CDL for 3 years. That's BS. There are plenty of companies that will look at him. In closing I hope you and he learned a lesson. Do your research!! The Internet is a great tool!

even if they use DAC, it doesn't mean you wouldn't be considered for employment. If a company has a need and you are insurable, then you may get hired. But... there are lots of good companies that don't use DAC. Nobody can touch or take away your CDL but the state. The amount of misinformation out there is incredible...
