What would you do? any advice appreciated

I called two recruiters I know this morning. Both said they would call me back. Not yet. Good luck with this and have a long and great career.

I know a guy who had a pretty colorful background albeit not as recent as popping positive in school but there was no way he was denying his past and he still went to work as a driver. Best course of action IMO is take the lump as a lesson learned. Life is full of them. If you don't disclose it and they find out somehow that is going to make it even harder to find another job.

 

Wouldn't be in that position. I would have been smart enough to realize I might be taking a drug test and, wait for it, not get high. But what do I know.

 

I will be a bit harsh and agree with another poster -maybe you need to find another job because to me this wasn't a mistake especially when you attempt to cover your butt with these home test kits.
