I'm going to get on with one of Gates or Bezos companies that are going to rape Greenland now that the ice is melting.

Not for my self. Just like they aren't going to do it for themselves.

    But to save the planet.

at 50, I’ve considered this. I’d probably become a pilot cat. The rates they are charging makes me think about doing it now..

Funny. We were just "talking" about that. 2/mile plus hotel to run a car!

Too late for too many things.
Too bad that abstract things such as, for example, becoming a professional pianist or an opera house soloist are out of question too. lol
I guess it is time to stop dreaming and go back on earth.
It was true when someone said that once trucking sucks you in, you're lost forever.

That can be said for so many things.
What sucks you in, can also spit you back out.

    And nothing remains constant forever.
    Nothing.

Good advice. My problem for me with that is I get what I refer to Hobby ADD. I will get interested in it. Go down a rabbit hole until my brain is satisfied I know enough then go off chasing another squirrel. I envy those who can settle to call something their passion.

Rodney Dangerfield didn't become a successful comedian until he was around 50 years old. There is always time to switch gears and trying something new.

    Become a politician.

I used to lie my ### off on my logs for YEARS, so I'm very good at lying.

I would move to a country where I can be comfortable on $1000 a month.

I'm leaning towards Monterrey Mexico because of it's close proximity to Texas and decent healthcare sysytem.

It takes YEARS of no money and/or debt unless you were a successful military pilot. Fat chance. Most prospective pilots settle for trucking.
