What would you do if you forgor your id?

It is required to have your DOT medical card and CDL with you at all times when operating a commercial vehicle or you will be put out of service.

 

We have all heard that and discussed it. We are looking for the facts that support this.

 

There is a caveat for this, and it says nothing about being put out of service!

 

But what about the fine?

 

They tell you even at the DMV when you receive it that you need it at all times. Wish they were open.

True, but the section we quoted shows it as well.

However, the state of Illinois takes your license, or at least they did the last time I got a ticket.
