Some people can only make this type of money driving a truck. Many jobs, no matter how hard or how long one works, do NOT pay well. Truck driving is a way out for many people all throughout the United States of America. $700 a week is a lot of money for someone who is LUCKY enough to only earn 1/2 of that amount.
Also, I have come across people who work morning, noon, and night delivering pizza and they are LUCKY to earn $400 a week. Delivering pizza is NOT a high paying job. Also, working inside the pizza shop is NOT a high paying job, INCLUDING the managers position.
God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!
What would you do if you were me?

Is this late night Miami Pizza?I heard its awfully expensive.
mje Thanks this. -
in a well populated area, the suburbs for example, its a very good way to pay for school, or as a part time job to pay off debt.
some numbers for you, tho dated by nearly twenty years. average tip is 2 to 3 bucks. delivery area is restricted to 5-7 miles. only at the slowest times do you leave the store with one order. most times it's 2, and at peak dinner rush, 6-830, I got three orders on me. Will pull off 2 to three runs an hour. so for the dinner rush we are doing better than 25 bucks, and average 12-15 the rest of the time. work a double shift from lunch to close on a Saturday and Sunday during football season, that's over 400 bucks for 2 long ### busting days. oh and fyi, best tippers are working class, early 20's cause they most likely also work as servers/ bartenders, and drinks. gotta love Friday night drunk and hungry folks. worst tippers wrote the upper middle class broke as Crap fills cause they are barely affording that bmw and the big house in the gated community. you have no idea how many 500k dollar homes have nearly a stitch of furniture in them.
worst tipper ever. the ####### local democrat politician ( I'm sure it was an aide)that ordered 50 pizzas, requiring me to make ten trips up 6 flights of stairs cause the service elevator was out and us working trash aren't allowed to use the lobby elevators, gave me 20 cents. I gave it back and said to consider it a campaign contribution.
oh and fyi, the only one making less than three manager is the 16 year high school kid answering the phone. the only reason to be a manager is to get the experience with long term plans of opening or buying a franchise.
edit to add: some guys do over 75 grand a year doing this, they bounce from hot spot to hot spot through out the year. wildwood nj, vale co, south beach, etc. the guy I worked for tried to get me to do this for two years and he'd help me buy a store. But nope, I just had to buy that worn out Pete. he now has over ten stores, each one profiting more than 5 grand a month. moral of the story? next time a successful business man tries to steer me in a direction, I should listen to him!Last edited: Aug 28, 2013

3 marriages and 2 kids son.. go to the oil field and advance as much as you can.

Find a local job pulling dry bulk tankers. (Cement, fly ash, etc). Generally home daily and you'll make more than most OTR companies pay. And you get to actually have a life outside of the truck.....

Somebody will eventually come out with a rope, tree school..Then we'll have to pay for that shiq too..
Wont be able to be buried without a credited trucking suicide program
