Pour some meythlhydrate into the def tank, force a regen and get far away from it.
Truck will take care of it's self. Claim major Emission failure on insurance.
Done. I had one that cost me that much, I should have burnt it but I didn't know how at the time. Met an oldschool guy after who explained some things...
What would you do with this truck.....

The problem with the insurance ideas is this: Depending on the year, My premium is $3500-$5000 CDN ($2000-$3500 USD) per truck for US and Canada. I hear stories of guys renewing for $15,000+ with clean loss runs. I don’t want them to drop me over a truck that’s worth maybe $10,000DUNE-T, exhausted379 and Feedman Thank this. -
No deductible on fire. Unless things have changed. Pour methylhydrate on the fusebox. -

Oscar the KW, BoostedTeg, haycarter and 2 others Thank this.

Is that what you're trying to say, cause that's what I hope you meant.
Cause last time I checked I bought a brand new pete that had water leaks everywhere and after 90 days the dealer told me it was my problem not theirs. Which left me with electrical problems/ water damage to my interior. -
Your setting it up for me to imply you are committing insurance fraud with 2 specific descriptions of how to burn up a truck to collect insurance with no deductible.
I stand by my original assumption!exhausted379 Thanks this. -
When anyone recommends burning a truck, it's always a joke, or a last ditch effort to save yourself from a system that's designed to screw a small company.
Did I burn my truck over water leaks? No. Other things happened and now I'm not allowed back at a certain dealership. Did paccar openly admit the t680 and 579 body styles are prone to water leakage and electrical failure afterwards?
Hell ya, my employer has the emails Paccar sent him about HIS WHOLE FLEET that are all plagued with water issues, admitting they are poorly designed, and that they are willing to replace them with older style models to get away from the horrible electronics, and water leaks. Which I provided videos of water streaming down interior electrical sockets.
Y'know how he did it? He spent lots of money on lawyers. He almost went bankrupt over it.
So what's 1 guy stand a chance of?
But hey what do I know right? I haven't been ####ed by a dealer before and lost my shirt over it. I haven't been ####ed out of $25,000 in warranty repairs that they refused to warranty.rank Thanks this. -
If the driver that likes the truck is retiring in a year, you have another truck idle in the yard.
I would put driver in another truck and sell this one.
Sell whole or Either part out or keep for parts. What works best for you.
Good luck.HighwaySuperTramp Thanks this.
