Do you NEED a restart or can you run on recap hours? I constantly hear about NEEDING a 34 and yet know plenty of driver who go weeks at a time (not going home) and run recap with no problem.

If I was that far from home (more than recap hours could cover), I'd take a nap and sleep on it. If the freight is that strong today, it will probably also be that strong tomorrow or Wednesday. I'd be prowling for a last minute load tomorrow afternoon that would work on recap, or just sleep until Wednesday afternoon.

Stick a couple pages under the bunk or do what 379EXHD said and roll on. I have more than once hid my paper work under the bed or in the bed sheets. I've also put them in DVD cases tool boxes etc. If you creative they won't notice. But I would suggest you shuter down when you get on the other end for enough hours you can make a 34 on paper and roll on again.
