What would you do?

I'd pay him $1500. 120hrs at $1200 is only 10/hr. Truck drivers should make more than that. Hell I'm home every night and I make more than $1200/week. If I was otr I'd have to be making double that to be worth while.

 

Where are you getting 120 hrs? He isn't driving 10 mph....

U find that funny but sadly isnt.go otr and sacrifice as much as these guys do than u may earn the right to say anything about the subject

 

I have 20 yrs and approximately 2 million miles so please don't try to preach to me. I spent more than 350 days on the road for several years in a row. Try that and see how you like it.

I made more than twice that, but what I made has nothing to do with it. You are saying people should be paid for every hour they are gone which is absurd. That is tantamount to expecting to be paid mileage while you sleep, eat, etc.

 

well i guess it depends on the driver,like many people say otr is a lifestyle not a job.for me,when im on the road its like im on a mission:make as much as possible in the shortest time possible so i can return safely to my loved ones.

 

I get that, and there is nothing wrong with that. I was only saying that claiming that driver is only making $10 per hour is simply not true.
