Edison nj to los angeles. 34500# dry van. Team needed. Guy is getting desperate it went from a solo run to a team Run. I'm thinking Noone wanted the load because broker couldn't agree rate or no trucks available.

IDK the miles but I would do it for about $ 6200, assuming van freight is better than flat out west, and assuming its about 25-2700 miles

2756 miles @ $3.50 per mile = $9646.00 is what I would do it for.

If I had a team I would do it for $2.50/mile assuming I had something in LA coming back to NJ for at least $2.50-3.00/mile. However, I know some people here in Jersey who would probably do it for a lot less than this...

Sounds like the broker is really desperate. That said why would some of you guys be willing to cut him slack at $6,200 and $2.50 a mile? CA van outbound probably blows there's no way I'd touch it for less than $3.35 a mile. This is one I'd get a kick out of making squirm. He's had several days to pay a solo fair now he's in a tough spot. Would walk away from sub $3 a mile no doubt at all.

Just a heads up, van rates suck in LA. No more than 120 loads posted on any given day, half of those are intrastate or to AZ. Only loads that are paid decently are going north west.

Make squirm and start coughing up mo money just cause it's going to commiefornia and you got to deal with more b.s. Laws there like charge them a special Mary Nichols fee plus I would charge more just because it's coming from NJ and all the tolls and rough roads wear and tear on trk/trl buts that's me anything past Ohio and Utah I demand more money. Close to 10,000 sounds about right.

I said $2.50/mile IF and only IF I was able to get something good coming out of LA, which probably isn't the case…so most likely I wouldn't have taken this load.
