I don't know how many of you in here have talked out on the highway maybe at a truckstop café. But, have you ever crossed paths out on the highways. Say you see them in New York. A few days later you pass by them in Nevada. Just wondering how often you pass by otr drivers you know.

Yep that's all the places I've been truckin , Maine is real pretty too. But to the op...every day is a new adventure. You never know were you will be, who you will meet or what's going to happen for that matter. Ive worked on cars for 18 years and the same old doors gets tireing. Out on the road you do what you want when you want, you just have a deadline. But usually that's not a problem. No nagging boss or stupid coworkers to put up with all day long, yes traffic can get crazy . But its crazy going to work anywhere any way. Plus in the big cities it makes a pretty good challenge. Start truckin' you'll love it..........its a wild ride

It's always a new adventure no matter how crappy of a place you might be. Meeting and talking to other people in different locations of the country. Hauling groovy flatbed freight that can be a challenge. Last but not least your level of (shrinking) independence you have.
