If those numbers are correct then I would say that's not too bad. As long as you can get some good miles. Fuel has been costing me about 50 cpm lately so you should be able to make a decent living at those numbers.
US MARINE Thanks this. -
Yeah I was thinking fuel costs at 0.54-0.58 .. The numbers are correct he actually said that the 1.12 is going up to 1.14 before long that's not much but its something .
Im on a % deal at 63% and I do good to get 1.65-1.70 on all miles but I have all the costs of Plates , Fuel taxes , Permits , and I pay 63% on tolls and 100% scales . Which pulls it down a bit -
Said he was told he could get 2400 to 2800 miles a week..
-
Sounds like you might want to go to work there.
-
Nah - I have good weeks where I hit 1.80-1.85 avg
-
I pay for my plates and insurance and don't do that well. I'd take it in a heart beat
-
He'd be paying his Phys Damage & Occ Acc still
-
I think one of the CATCHES is fuel costs I think he won't get any discounts above cash price . But that's about the only flaw I found
