What you think ? good lease or scam ➡️2020 Volvo ? Hellp Mee lol

Your beating a dead horse? I won’t tell you to walk away from a lease, I’ll just say.....RUN!

 

Based on 500 miles a day five days a week and not including extra pay these are the numbers I get.

Truck rental, Reefer, Insurance all add up to $1500 a week if I understand you right.
$.10/ml for maintenance $250
Fuel $2.75 at 6 MPG $1,145
Total $2,895
Divided by 2500 miles for the week and you would need to get $1.16 to pay the bills and $1.71 if you want to only make $0.55 cpm wage for yourself. Now include health insurance and different taxes and what does your rate need to be just to make ends meet? You also have the extra things that always seem to happen that you need an emergency fund for.

I am not an owner operator and I’m likely missing something but those numbers just don’t look good to me.
I’m interested in listening to the guys who are turning a profit and hearing what they have to say.

 

What 2020 Volvo is getting only 6mpg?

To get a better idea on fuel mileage and costs, one would need to know what axle the truck is running to be even halfway close.

But 8 mpg is often easy to do on a newer truck. That's 33% less fuel than your estimate.

I've had week's that achieved 9.2 in my 2019 Cascadia running western 10 and all the mountains included.

Trick photography , Dwight Clark isn’t 9 feet tall , well ok maybe he can jump to 9 feet tall. 49ers are the wine and Bree crowd we Raiders are the fresh out of prison crowd. I remember when Jim Plunkett became the starting quarterback of the 49ers in the late 70’s ... then drove 9 miles across the bay bridge to party with Oaktown. Then win a couple Super Bowls for us. Good times !!! Santa Clara 49ers forever !!!!

 

I was a Raider fan since they played at Yuell Field ... First the move to LA, now Vegas. They keep crapping on their Oakland fans ... Piss on 'em, I'm done with them. Hope they dwell in the cellar forever.
