Yes, loosen the lugnuts, and move the truck around. Works good.

BE CAREFULL with neversieze its fine to use but do not get it on the stud threads. Also agree with jameslawton I am a municiple mechanic and work on our fleet of snow plows. I have put wheel nuts on loose and done slow donuts in the yard in order to break them free. The turning multiplies the torque applied to the wheels usually they will break free within a few turns. Also agree with using the plastic sepperators after wheels are off.

It like all things has its place and on wheel stud threads is not the place. Personally I dont want my wheel nuts backing off and wheels falling off but mayby your life is that boring that you need some excitement! Also the wheel torque spec is a dry thread torque spec meaning if oil or "neversieze" is added to the stud the torque you are putting on to wheel stud nut will change. If you actually want to do it properly when wheels are off chase the stud threads with a tap and a light grade oil. Then brake clean the oil off the studs and install wheels rust is gone nuts are torqued accuratly!

O, yea that ant seize will cause the nut to back off, I guess you don't know what a bud syle wheel is, if you don't use ant seize the inner stud SEIZES, and breaks.

I have dealt with buds, and daytons. How does it feel to be the smartest man in a world of one? Hope you never have a wheel off due to your stupidity and most of all I hope you don't kill any one when it happens. This arguement is no longer worth my time.

Yeah I have only been a mechanic for about 20 years and put anti seize on hundreds of trucks and trailers and never had a wheel fall off if you put them on tight they wont fall off if you put them on loose it don't matter what you put on the studs they will fall off

    that65 and mslashbar Thank this.
