NASTC had been killer discounts lately 50-70+ ¢/gallon
The yearly fee was paid in savings the first week this year.

I don’t exactly see this as an upgrade. It’s good in some parts, but bad in others. Why can’t their program be good overall like Pilot/FJ and Love’s. For starters, they further destroyed our showers. From what I’m reading, showers no longer last 14 days. Now it’s just 7 days! And if you want 10 days you need to buy 1500 gal a month! C’mon now.

And for the icing on the cake, double showers are apparently no longer possible in one day! What a year!

yeah, they've been announcing for months that next year they'd have improvements to the rewards program. this might be a little improvement but it is a long way from good and it sure doesn't meet the expectations from the ads. my biggest problem is why not allow cumulative gallons toward the shower credits and why not some free drinks. most locations don't charge for coffee after buying fuel, but some do. do, and all will if you didn't just buy the fuel right then.

Well, we have some good news from NASTC, at least. Road Ranger truck stops are joining the fuel program. They have 40 locations, and their truck stops are nice (images below).

I found them not to have too good fuel quality at least in IL, notably I won't fuel in Rochelle, IL unless they changed something I would not want to fuel there.

The location in Rochelle, IL is both Pilot and Road Ranger. To my knowledge, whenever they merge, the fuel is always Pilot/FJ, and the store is Road Ranger. I remember fueling at those mergers and getting points on my Pilot/FJ rewards card. That being said, I don’t think the merger fuel stops will be added to NASTC.

    ——Edit

Okay, I am probably wrong about the mergers not being added to NASTC. It’s strange. Does that mean now we can get showers at some Pilot/FJs!

Road rangers are not part of pilot/flying j anymore. I remember getting email about month ago that effective immediately pilot reward cards won't earn any points.
