If you have plenty of work around you, I'd buy a century/columbus day cab. If there's not a lot of local work outside of gas, then same truck, only with a 48" sleeper. It's going to be hard to find a truck under 16,500 with a sleeper. I have a buddy with a Prostar that's about that weight, but without fuel and a 48" bunk

When I first started tanks, I bought a new roper & comp and went with a split shaft and single pto and paid $5,200. That's Chicago price, you could get it cheaper outside of a big city.
Roper pump is $900 or $1200 with a ss shaft and bronze bearings.
    Quincy comp is $900
Pto is about $300 balanced shafts are about $500-$700 and a split shaft is about $250

Will you be doing several short trips, or one longer trip every day?
