Unlike other carriers Roehl does its background, mvr and criminal checks once you commit to go to Roehl... not at Orientation... once all those check out then you are given a Conditional Offer of Employment... and your physical is ordered at a clinic near your home... none of this will be done i you are still shopping companies since it all costs money... Once your physical results come back you are scheduled for an orientation date... So if you wait until you graduate to commit to Roehl then you may sit for 3 weeks waiting for a class date... my advise is to figure out if Roehl is for you and get the ball rolling ASAP so you can move from school right into orientation...
wulfsbergvw Thanks this. -
At orientation you will take a drivers skills evaluation and the dreaded stress test everyone talks about... ( i had a 5'4 392lb student who passed it...) and inprocess ... if you are worried about the stress test your recruiter will email it to you
nedayboyz and wulfsbergvw Thank this. -

Roehl YUCK! Went in there as a driver with 16 years experience,I was the only driver in Orientation with any experience.Worst driving job in my career.Left after 90 days. Paychecks were only around $200-$400 dollars per week, after staying out 4 weeks at a time.

Yeah got my prehire about a week ago.Sent the recruiter my employment history and starting school this week.Have my permit just wanted to study all my other endorsements my 1st week and take them when they roll in to take permit tests.Better to get them now while I'm in class and have the time.

That said I'd rather gut it out with a beginer company that has a good rep then some of the other companys I've read tear jerking storys about. We are new to driving and our choices are limited for at least a year.If Roehl is what you say it is then fine I'll gut it out.. -
