    APUs may use less fuel than idling but I'm choking to death thanks to the one next to me so they're not exactly cleaner.

    ya they can have their apu's , I sleep better with a big motor running anyway.

    I sleep better with everything turned off. Its a nice day here in Phoenix, no need to idle, run your apu, etc.
