Youre taking this personal and it’s not, it’s business, you think McDonald’s is going to tell BK how much they are making off a cheeseburger?

If net income was everything left after fuel... we'd all be rich!

Well the contract I'm currently under, amazon pays for fuel and I get 900 per day and a 5 day work week. So 4500 per week net because I don't have to pay for fuel. And if I do any work on the 6th day ( Saturday ) I get 1500 more on top on the normal weekly pay.

I think that's a common theme with O/Os. Got to keep your cards close to your chest or else somebody will scoop you and take eat your lunch. It has some validity to it, but mostly it's not going to bite you if you don't show where exactly you're getting your loads. If folks were a bit more open we might be able to see where the industry could go in an upwards direction instead of a downwards one.

those are pretty decent numbers. I don't know if you're gonna find anything dry van grossing more than 235K per year

100% agree! If truckers ware more united more could be achieved and accomplished. There is definitely power in numbers. Truckers used to stick together and used to be a brotherhood. United we stand divided we fall. As far as my question was concerned I didn't ask any personal info like where they get the loads.

    Rideandrepair Thanks this.

Do they also pay for tires, brakes, valves that are leaking air, grease, etc?

Rideandrepair and Last Call Thank this.
