Whats everyone clearing per week on avarge with dryvan o/o

The last time Amazon paid well was, ironically, before they cut the brokers out of it almost entirely and bought a gazillion trailers back in 2015 or so. Been cheap ever since. It was always cheap anyways until peak season but it's been cheap even in peak season ever since they bought all those trailers. JB Hunt dedicated contracted on with them around that time too.

 

I'm making 240k annually, just 3k miles per week for 52 weeks a year! After fuel it's essentially just $$$ in the bank!!!

Noticed my Truck GPS has not worked at all today. Used my phone GPS the whole day. Hopefully it will connect tomorrow since got to go a couple places not comfy with Google Maps. I do have a built in GPS on the truck so might use it but noticed it sucks 99 percent of the time and wants to drive to many miles out of the way on routes.

Finishing up my load in the morning with 3 drops and then gonna head to CA with a 40K load and tanker endorsement. Prob could had got a little more on that load but wanted to get something booked right away and not worry about messing around. Might go to OR or WA from CA or to ID. Seen a few loads that I might try and grab. Hopefully the eclipse does not fck up my timing since a lot of people are suppose to be sight seeing.

 

I-10 in Texas is packed with terrorists, tourists I mean. Definitely a cluster today. Can’t imagine what it will be like tomorrow. Maybe picnics on the shoulders of the highways.

 

If it’s a Garmin you can reboot it by holding the power button in a few seconds.

Got to roll now, been shut down all day. Nebraska shut down the interstate at the mm101. Was insane wind here..not too bad now. Really friged up my plans on an easy ride into SLC early am but now I got to hammer down all night.

Too much money bypassing my wallet and going out the stacks

 

Saw one of those about a week ago, approximately 10:00pm, on hwy 275, a mile or two south of the scale near Fremont, NE. That driver ran 9 miles like that. Lots of red and blue lights when the driver was stopped.

 

,,it's why I got into trucking,,I suppose it was all those dead head miles that held me back.

 

Stupid Rand McNally but can't really complain. It has worked for 6 years now so I have got my money worth out of it. Never did work today and will mess with it tomorrow and see if I can get it to work again. Just not showing any GPS signal and get that in some areas in East Side.

I barely got my load to CA picked up, had to be there by 3Pm and got there at 2:55PM. Gonna have to hammer down all the way out that way to make it on a decent time frame. Might take a load to SLC from that area since I will only have around 16 hours left on clock for the weekend.
