The only thing I know about them back in March when they were thinking of hiring me. They didn't give rate cons so I never bothered with them because I don't believe guessing what a O/o weekly pay should be.
Albertaflatbed and Another Canadian driver Thank this. -
Van 70% of revenue
Flatbed 75%
Flatbed w/ trailer 80%
Mileage rate (Van Only) 1.40 mile+FSCAlbertaflatbed and Another Canadian driver Thank this. -
That same load might be paying $4200 but they tell you $2500. A Owner Operator should always be able to see what they're working for in order of calculating their budget and finance similar to a Owner operator working for a cpm rate. Who is their right mind is going just drive their own truck guessing what they will make that week after running not knowing the rate con?ducnut, Albertaflatbed and Another Canadian driver Thank this. -
My brother in law was at Muskoka Transport when Titanium bought them out. He stayed on until he retired as a company driver.
Everyone he knew that switched to their owner operator plan either quit or went broke.'88K100, BigHossVolvo, Flat Earth Trucker and 3 others Thank this. -
That's unfortunate, I'll be going on as a company driver, If I choose to accept the offer.Another Canadian driver and Albertaflatbed Thank this. -

On a 70/30% rate split, After expenses what is the actual profit split?
It depends is not really an answer, just a divergence.
It just seems on % split the o/o is paying the trucking company 30% of the fuel cost ,tolls etc on top of actual cost.
Or another way to put it is the company collects 100% of the costs in the rate but only give the o/o 70%.Another Canadian driver Thanks this. -
When I was new to OTR, I had someone help me get into flatbed, running percentage. I’d always felt I was being cheated, because I was barely above starving. I had a chance load where the rate was on the paperwork. As it turned out, my employer skimmed me on the rate per unit AND the multiplier. By then, I had enough experience to go anywhere I wanted, which resulted in a ~50% pay increase, my next year. Don’t be a sucker, is the moral to this story.Another Canadian driver, NorthEastTrucker and REO6205 Thank this. -
To me they seem like your typical mega carrier as far as pay and what not .not bad looking equipment for company trucks new volvo’s and peterbilts . I almost took a local job with them a couple years ago . No idea how the company it’s self is to work for though
