I use the xm with the fm transmitter now. It sucks though because you need to change the radio station every 50 miles or so. (which is imposible to do without taking your eyes off the road)

Cant wait to drive my new truck.

Noooo. Go to Bbuy n tell them you want the "portable" sat radio...all you do is tune your stereo to,a certain channel and WALA... You don't HAVE to attach anything to your factory stereo,it has a transmitter built in (the portable sat radio) and if you slip seat, you just snatch the antenna( comes with) off and move it to the next truck...sooooooo nice.

P.s. don't let honey see it,SHE'LL WANT IT!!! Lol :biggrin_2559:

yes sometimes you have to change the channell, but YOUR AUX DOESN'T WORK,SO that's all you can do,besides its not hard at all...I'm too cheap to buy another sat radio for my new truck so that's what I use til it dies, then I'll have one installed, but BEWARE,once you have it,you can't live without it!!!:biggrin_25510:

I had sat radio once before, it came with the new car I bought back before losing my last job
I will see how the miles are in the next couple weeks and maybe pick one up, been sitting with my truck in the shop since the AC died, called today and they said they are waiting for volvo to open in the morning to get a new evap

Oh and my wife mostly stays home and uses internet radio on her phone if driving so she wont want my sat radio.

I have 2 12's and a low profile subwoofer all under the bunk. I'm home every night and I don't have a fridge or microwave so I have plenty of space..

man I havent been camping in almost 2 years now, maybe for our anniversary at the end of August I will propose to camp at the beach since she has been wanting to go, the sad thing you can get a hotel for almost what you pay to camp these days.
