Whats It Like Driving Your First Time !

In school, the first time on the highway, I just nudged the buzz strip on the side of the lane, about 8 inches off on the right side. My instructor, who was a pretty funny and laid back guy calmly said, "do you know what you just hit?"

I said "yeah, the buzz strip." His next dead pan question was, " you know what those are for don't ya?"

I said "It is to warn you if your out of your lane." He said "It's for blind people so they can drive. I know your not blind cause' ya looked right at me before."

Everyone in the truck broke up laughing.

 

I think you misread his post. Enough miles to make 1K a week means that he is getting 1K a week with the miles given him.
