Whats it like running road for ECM, (Pitts Trk. load) in Columbus? Pay sounds decent. Where do they run? How long do they stay out? Are their bennies about the same as Pitt? What kind of money can be made? What kind of miles can you expect? Thanks!

They aren't a 48 state outfit if that is your question. 99% home every day/ night. Lots of relay runs drop loaded return with empty or swap loads or even return with LTL. it's a hard to define strictly regional company. :biggrin_2554:
Some are hourly and some are CPM, Not a bad company or great, worth checking into. Not a LTL, but they do 100% dry van with some haz mat endorsement required loads. Pitt-Ohio is a part of the company. forget who the major partner is. Like i said worth checking into.

Ok thanks, I will. Ther're taking apps in Columbus, Oh. for OTR drivers at .50/per mi. I dont mind staying out a few days if I have to. But, its
really cool if I get home a couple times a week. Thanks

I worked for these guys and let me tell you Eddie Myers is a crook!!! you really need to talk to some of the people working there now that have been there for a while.. yes pitt ohio is a "controlling partner" its their way or no way.. go talk to some guys that have been there a while they will tell you if your looking to put something else on your resume then go for it.. I certainly would not plan on making a career out of ECM. they are just like all the others they sound good till you get there.. call there office in new Kensington pa ask for Karen hood she is HR/ safety ask her how things go she will tell you her self it sucks. a lot of the guys that have been there a while will tell you that Eddie Myers was the best guy to work for until he got into huge trouble and his brother inlaws family chuckie something or other who owns Pitt Ohio had to bail him out then he gave the 51% shares in his company and they pretty much are running it into the ground.. the health insurance really stinks and is extremely expensive .. so expensive that they will actually pay you not to take it.. they are a joke just my 2 cents

Yup, that's that why said it's not a bad company or great.
Clarify my previous post. I've never worked for them. Going through the local jobs past years, Former co-workers see out and about is employed by ecm / pitt-ohio.

Still far worse off companies. Make some $$$$ and move on.
