As I've said all along, this thing lacks the organization necessary to be effective. Even if there was a spokesperson, how could every single one of the estimated 3.4 million drivers let his/her voice be heard?
Something needs to happen, there's no doubt about that. The problem is the lack of organization. Get organized, THEN do the work stoppage.

Well here is the situation in my neck of the woods..
I have only seen 5 rigs today and normally I see about 45 on my way to work -
Fox just showed I-55 in Chicago. Wow!!! The truck traffic is definitely DOWN.
-
The Fox 25 out of Boston showed the traffic cams and it showed traffic down there as well
-
Talked to a buddy of mine in Richfield, Ohio at the Pilot. The news crew just showed up, but there is plenty of traffic moving in and out of there. CO's and OO's fueling and running.

Ya, watch the video. The camera subjects one completely bald drive tire, and another balding one with trucks rolling in a blurry background. Way to go guys. Not smart on a safety level, especially with the news out there to ruin everything, but on the other hand shows how you can't replace tires if you can't make money.

No change up here in the amount of trucks on I-94 and 127!
Lot's of trucks like usual...... -
I've not seen any less trucks driving by my house today either. Most of the truck traffic around here is local daycabs.
