Just do what the trainer tells you to do. If they don't tell you what to bring in the school, I would ask. Your trainer is not there to pick on you. Usually he is telling you something for a reason. Don't be afraid to ask questions. You are in training for a reason...to get trained. And, yes, remember..it is HIS truck and that sleeper is his home away from home. Respect his wishes and you should get along fine.
I don't know what school you are referring to, but I started with Schneider and IMHP got excellent training. I got stuff that I still remember and put into practice today, some 15 years later. Well, other than the no idle thing, and the 55 MPH thing back then..how did I ever do that?????? but by golly, I still have my company issued orange underwear!
