Honestly it would all depend on you, your dispatcher, your company, too many variables to give a once and done answer. JMHO -
thanks KANSAS!!! i can do the mile thing and its no PROBLEM ! but when they say % i go brain dead!!!!
-
If you don't mind me asking, what at you hauling, are you making what you feel is a decent wage now, are you getting enough miles a week?kimbosa Thanks this. -
All my loads are %, it makes it easy for the customer to figure their cost because they already know the invoice amount. All my charges are based off their invoice plus a FSC. It's always a good payday when you pick up the expensive furniture, but alot a people seem to be buying the inexpensive Chinese #### these days

With percentage you are being paid fairly and know your pay will increase when rates go up . However it doesn't help much when rates stay low .
Since rates vary per load if you are paid per mile which rate do you think they'll adjust your pay by ? Be assured it won't be the high one . -
getting paid on loaded miles. ONLY
or getting paid on ALL miles. loaded or empty. -
Exactly, that's why I said it really depends on the situation. -
kimbosa Thanks this.
