I've heard they only send solos out there if the shipper is west of TN or close to Murray terminal. It's mostly teams.

They probably still do Gatorade runs Dallas to Los Angeles

I use to do CVS loads Los Angeles to East Rhode Island that were good. That's likely team only now

    Chinatown Thanks this.

Your new to the industry so still have a lot to learn and hopefully you'll be all the more wiser for it, you've certainly come to the right website if you want good reliable information well 99.9 % good as nothing is perfect. If you don't like team driving your going to have an issue for starters and you'll have to do team for your training there is no other way for it, if you want a day job at least the training will only involve you going out for the day and you'll be home again so not so bad. Some things you can demand, although being new you'll have to be a bit more flexible, be willing to go the extra mile rather than be ridgid, show that your willing to go places other drivers won't go when your new this will leave a good impression on the boss, things which you should be entitled to is being paid on time, be put in a truck that is road worthy, reliable, you should be reimbursed for any "extras" like road tolls, or other out of pocket expenses you had to pay for to keep the truck running, make sure you keep receipts. Read any contract that they offer you to sign before you sign on the dotted line. Keep a copy you should be given one to make a contract legally binding. All the best future CDL driver.
