So I've decided I must get a dash cam to cover my rear end from all these crazies on the road.
    What's the best out there?

    Vilhiem Thanks this.

I've had soo many closes calls :biggrin_25513:
Already been in an accident with a dude falling asleep behind the wheel last year.
I'm not going another winter without a dash cam

    Vilhiem Thanks this.

I had a close encounter with either a drunk driver or one falling asleep at the wheel last Friday.

The things I've seen in the last 11 months I've been doing this, you'd think I'd quit threatening to get a dash cam and actually do it.

At first I thought you were eyeballing the 4-wheeler, and then Mr. Safety comes rolling on through.

Yes...except some of this crap my family doesn't believe me on. Though it's probably better they keep thinking it's just a truckers tale.............

Oh I saw some yielding. Just not the right driver.

I pre-ordered a Poloroid Cube+. They come out later this month. It's basically one of the GoPro Session like small cubes at less than half the price. They record at 1080p and 1440p IIRC and do looping video (they calling it cycle video). The Plus version coming out includes wifi and can be controlled from an iphone app. The Cube and Cube+ have a magnet built into the base for easy mounting and have other monts just like the gopro. I have a Gopro Hero2 and love the video but it doesn't loop the video so I'm hoping this cube compares in quality.

Mine's the Cobra 840 (if I'm remembering the # correctly)...does alright. Night isn't very good where I've got it set....can change that, but then daytime wouldn't be very good without again changing the setting. You'd THINK by now that these things would automatically adjust the exposure for the light conditions. In order to avoid having to constantly adjust, I just leave it at the default setting. Most of my driving is during the day anyway.

Yeah, night or day here. Mostly night, but it changes often enough to where just one setting won't cover it.
