    WHAT!
Do you how to drive a Detroit? Before you get in slam your hand in the door. Then you'll be pissed off the rest of the day and ready to go trucking.

Speed_Drums, Roger McG and Bean Jr. Thank this.

The first Detroit I ever drove was a 318 with a 6 and 4. Short logger. The only piece of advice on how to drive it came from the truck boss..."Wind it like a two dollar watch". I wasn't sure what he meant but I figured it out by the end of the day.
I don't know how high I was winding it. The tach never did work.

alds and Bean Jr. Thank this.

    A built Cat 6nz.

I will say a deleted and tuned X15 does pretty well.

Does a John Deere Model B count? Still fires up and does it’s thing without fail for the last 81 years.

Speed_Drums, MACK E-6 and Roger McG Thank this.

Toyota 22R. In several different 80's pickups. You couldnt kill one of those no matter how hard you tried. The Japanese equivalent of the Dodge/ Plymouth Slant 6. Practically indestructible!

    MACK E-6 Thanks this.

‘77 long bed with 20R. Over 300,000 miles on it by 1992. The only thing that killed it was a very very large oaktree on a loose and windy ranch road.

MACK E-6 and Dockbumper Thank this.
