Thanks , I will ... I would like a backup for my RM 720. I'm using Co-Pilot in the company truck right now (Company issue / Truck PC) and
it seems to be a solid program.

I could also spring for the $150 and get it on my iPhone. ...

I wish they would've just sold the program/made it into an app because a lot of us already have tablets and expensive phones, why dish out that kind of money for a new one. I emailed rand mcnally and they told there program is to big. My response was tell that to people at CoPilot. Which I needed up buying. I am glad I did. The routing is spot on even in NYC where all the others get very confused.

 

Rand has gone over the NY DOT truck routing and it matches. The Truck GPS is tied into the tablet via API's and other interfaces since the two draw off of each other.

 

that is not a gps. you guessed wrong. very seldom does my atlas get used. and when it does. it's for the 411 on phone numbers. NOT mapping.

 

copilot is downloaded through the app store. NOT ebay or amazon.

 

the biggest mapping gps app i've seen so far, is sygic. almst 5 gigs. becuase it has real world background. mountains and all that.
