I agree completely actually. But load rates change drastically on the same runs, or just stop altogether. So my average per week recently is 45-5500. But some good weeks are closer to 7k. But I was promised 7k+/week...

But I agree, it's a good gig, I'm just sick of their ish. Some things have got better, others worse.

    Lol exactly hahaha
I haul their reefer. And yea, 90% of the gross is top dollar as far as I've seen. But it's hard af to get good rates on loads as of recently. I'm making about 1000 less per.week on the same loads I've been hailing

Rates have been in the toilet lately. Big drop off even since a month ago. It’s not them it’s the market lowering your pay.

Yea I understand that. But if they ran things better I wouldn't have any problems. Well besides not having a new truck lol but I'll just have to take care of that on my own

Still haven't heard anybody have any suggestions on a better OO company tho. I didnt come here to complain about my current company

I’m sure someone will come thru. However, “better” is a relevant term. Better pay or better service? Better pay and service I doubt it. If I remember right @rollin coal has a high percentage but also books his own freight.

    Good luck.

He says he makes 5-7k gross and averages closer to 5k a week gross not counting fuel.

That’s not that good imo. I’m paid 85% and my overhead is $338/week (ins, plates, trailer rental). Lower weeks like in the winter I gross around 5-5.5k and most of the year I can pull 7-11k a week. My lane is Texas to New England and back.

I would highly suggest working for a small company. 20 trucks or less.
