Hi fellows, I'm a newbie and I have a hard time sending money for family while I'm on the rd! I have a account with Bank of America but you know how hard it's to find a bank and even if you find it you can't go to their drive thru with the big rig!! lol also, western union is so expensive to work with! So, would you experience drivers advise me how do you send money for family members when needed?? Thanks in advance!

Get the family moneycard at Walmart. You can move up to 1000 for 3.00. I am my wife have cards and can send money to each other a 3.00. The cards a an inital cost of 3 to 5 bucks. Can be used as a debit card almost anywhere. The moneygram method of sending money costs 30.00 to send 500.00, and then its basically walmart to walmart and they have a few other locations.

Is your family members trustworthy? If so,put one of them on your account.Or if you have a computer with you while on the road, look to see where the nearest branch that you have an account with, drop the trl then bobtail there.

I never have trouble find banks I can park near.. sometimes you have to walk a few blocks. But I hit my bank a few times a week.

I'm not with BOA, but with Chase.
They have a Quick Pay option that allows you to send money to anyone with an e-mail account.

It does take a couple days for the transfer, but it is an easy way to send money.
