Whats the best way to Berryville/AR from Jackson/MS

    Hi guys. it’s gonna be first time i will drive 80klbs with a reefer load from jackson ms to berryville AR. I heard that AR mountain roads are too bad. Please any advice? Thank you.

    You can go either that way, or over to Clarksville and up 21, or up 7 out of Russellville.

    I think out of Conway, the way you have on your map, would be safest for ya. I use the other two routes more just because of where I run out of most, but they might be a bit much for ya.

    Which road has the least slope?Which road would be most appropriate to use in a way that would put the least strain on the engine?65,7,21?

    i would run 62 to65 down to Conway. Then I 40, then I 30 through Little Rock. I 530/65 though Pine Bluff all the way down to I 20E at Tallulah, La over to Jackson. Sure, there are down hills but just take it easy and you'll be fine. No way to avoid hills from Berryville.
    Note: if you are placarded/Hazmat, you can't run I 30 through Downtown in Little Rock.
