I don't have a smartphone or a laptop, so I'm looking at options for how I want to stay connected while I'm out driving around the country.

I'm assuming most of you folks use a smartphone for connectivity, but I'm more interested in a laptop. Anybody use mobile hotspots or the like for connectivity?

I used to use a hotspot from Verizon. It seemed to work OK.

I also use the Verizon Hotspot. I use it with my Laptop and wireless mouse and keyboard. The keyboard is one of those ergonomically ones so I avoid carpal tunnel. It works most everywhere but can be expensive for downloads. It is very fast.

Your smart phone can be used as a modem for your laptop. Or just by an LTE modem from Verizon for your laptop. The LTE modem you will need to be near a source, ie; Truckstop, starbucks, motel. etc., and need the source password. The smartphone is the ticket. ( Verizon )

I can watch this roaming around anywhere-
