I don't have a smartphone or a laptop, so I'm looking at options for how I want to stay connected while I'm out driving around the country.
I'm assuming most of you folks use a smartphone for connectivity, but I'm more interested in a laptop. Anybody use mobile hotspots or the like for connectivity?
What's the best way to Internet on the road?

I used to use a hotspot from Verizon. It seemed to work OK.

I also use the Verizon Hotspot. I use it with my Laptop and wireless mouse and keyboard. The keyboard is one of those ergonomically ones so I avoid carpal tunnel. It works most everywhere but can be expensive for downloads. It is very fast.
