I know folks who do $8-10k. I know folks that are happy at $2k. So, a good week is somewhere between $2-10k. All depends on how you run your business.
QuietStorm, Midwest Trucker, stillwurkin and 2 others Thank this. -
My company is say about $3000.
Charlie Best Thanks this. -
I have never given it much thought, but I think the best single loads I have ever pulled, was 16,500.
As far as best week, it would be north of 20,000.
The gig I am on right now, they want me to do over 12,000, and I will if they twist my arm hard enough, I try to do between 8 and 9,000, and at this stage in life, am not unhappy if I just pull one load and do a 42 or 45 hundred week. lolMartinFromBC and Charlie Best Thank this. -
I average about 11,500 a week and clear round about 950.00.

I would say anyone netting 3k a week is good money, that's 12k a month. Not bad money to me.
Charlie Best Thanks this. -
Netting 3k a week means you've got to be grossing 5 to 6k. That's not easy in today's market unless you've got dedicated freight and run pretty hard.
My best week was $6400 and that was long ago, but I schedule myself to be home weekends, so that was 4 or 5 days of work.Charlie Best Thanks this. -
If that's how I started, I'd be one happy camper!

I can do that a week easy enough, but not year round. I only haul the companies overflow on freight and it brings a premium, but when work slows I am the first to go home. Most oos want a little more security,so lease on and it pays around 4 grand a week less for the same work, but is steadier. I don't know of any of them that doesn't take anywhere from a month to three months a year off though. A lot of them take summers off.Charlie Best Thanks this.
