What's The Last Day Of This Years DOT Blitz

I tryed not to lock eyes with the guy in the I95 Maine coop today. I felt like a big juicy steak hanging in front of a bear pulling into that scale. But he let me through, many others were not so lucky.

 

When they lock eyes, go up your nose to the 2nd knuckle and do the twist
Ain't no way they want you touching their pen.

 

I lost my transmission, one of my rear ends, three wheels and the passenger door on I-75 south of Detroit last week. That stretch doesn't even deserve to be called a goat trail.

Chicago to Stuart Iowa today on 80.
West bound 80 scale west of Harlem ave closed with 2 trucks in back.
East bound scale lots of activity and lot was at capacity.
280 scales at rock island closed and was nothin going on both sides .
Mitchellville scales westbound in Iowa were open and had a tent up in the inspection area and loaded with diesel bears and trucks .
East bound van meter scales west of des Moines closed and 0 activity.
Report from a buddy of Mine said the Avoca ia scale was deserted .
Don't take a lot of stock in that tho as Iowa is famous for opening scales at zero dark 30.

 

I know Arkansas is getting down on 30 and Missouri was inspecting on 44 in Joplin. At least they all were earlier today.
