Was a pretty calm day until I came by the Corbin, KY scales on I75. NC wasn't doing much more than usual, a car or 2 at each of the I40 and I26 scales around Asheville. SC I saw one DOT man doing a roadside inspection in that abandoned property on 26 east as you come into the state at that was it. Back to KY however... those guys always work hard but they had 1 truck in the bay and 4 more in line behind it to go in today which I've never seen. Back lot was zoo of trucks. The cruisers were parked up in the grass because their parking lot was full... busy busy place both sides so if you're rolling that way have your stuff together.

I went from Cincinnati up i71 to Brookville Indiana, eastbound Ohio scale was open doing inspections, westbound Indiana scale was open, inspection building was open. From there I took a load of shingles over to warsaw Missouri, which is where I'm sitting now in the Walmart lot. Not one scale between Brookville to here was open. I was pleasantly amazed to be honest. Not even the i70 east scale in Indiana from Illinois was open.
