In the early 90’s. I once ran from Chicago to San Antonio. Drop and hook went straight back to Chicago drop and hook for banger Maine. Made it to mass. Had to pull over for some needed sleep lol.

Back in 2012 when i began on papelogs, before mandatory 30 minute breaks, I one time started somewhere in Ohio or Pa and ended up around Oklahoma somewhere i just kept going and going, it was like a full 10 or 11 hours and i think i stopped once......pretty close to 700 miles ......another time picked up chicken in Moorefield, WV and in Portland, ME the next morning....heck of a drive with the traffic all the way up....

    47 years so far...:)

Now I just use drivewyze or prepass but had been known to backroad bypass a few. Got busted a couple times too. Now I am squeaky clean.

My regular run was leave MN noon Saturday deliver Phoenix Monday am and la Monday pm

This one's about running the coops. 2 years ago me and my dad 2 manned it up to Maine and back. I drove up and part way back then he took over. I woke up to us getting inspected on NY Rt7. They were open on the last rest area on I-88 so he decided to go around em and what do ya know they were waiting for someone like us Lol on a dirt pull off. Couldn't find anything wrong with the truck so we got an over length ticket haha
