Spokane to Mpls only stopped for fuel and potty breaks, don't remember how long it took, many years ago. used to run from Omaha to NYC with swinging meat, always did that nonstop.

I would if there was a paycheck attached to it, one thermos full of coffee, two six-packs of Red Bull, four Jolt Cola's and ten Starbucks frozen coffees. I would then roll down the road listening to Johnny Cash knowing I was wound up tighter than a banjo.

Were you paid or was this for fun?

Do they still haul beef "swinging" or do they box it all now. I haven't heard of swinging beef in years

Yearly Family motor home trip ,NY to Fl. , Disney, etc.
The last time, drove 12 hours, stopped, slept 3 hrs, drove the rest of the way.
Arrived in about 24 hrs. from when we started.
Wasn't tired, My wife kept making me food, coffee, etc, while I was driving.
Drivers seat is like a lounge chair similar to one in your living room.
Basically just stopped to use the head.
Now when go, my wife drives about 6-8 hrs then I drive the rest.

No doubt, but when you run line-haul you typically run home with swinging meat especially on Saturday mornings anticipating what is gonna take place when you get home..

427 miles in six hours and five minutes - averaged just over 70 mph when the speed limit was 55 everywhere - driving west , ended up in El Paso at a now-gone truck stop . . . Wheels never stopped . . . I think this is what you meant when you said "without stopping" . . .
