Back in the 90's when I drove for Magnum, I used to leave Fargo, pick up in Northfield going to Menominee mi.
I'd sleep for an hr, maybe two, while they unloaded me,then get a reload to Fargo and head back and drive to my house near st cloud MN.
Can't remember the miles but it was laughable.
Did it once a week
When I'd cross the bridge at Hudson I'd have my logbook in my hand and the window down
If they were checking log books, mine was going in the river.
Better to have no log book than a crooked one.

Beaver, UT (exit 112 off I-15) to Cleveland Ohio straight through. 100% sober, just monster energy drinks, pilot coffee, and some cigarettes Fueled at the Pilot in Beaver that morning, also stopping for fuel in Big Springs, NE (reset the log book too lol) stopped in Davenport, Iowa to reset logbook again, and for fuel at one of those travel areas off the Ohio Pike (I-80) 1,863 miles straight through. Left approximately 7 am local time on a Thursday morning and after fuel stops, resetting log book twice, checking straps on an onion load a time or two (and to piss) lol, running loaded through the Rockies on 70, and the usual slow downs in the Chicago/Gary area I was in Cleveland by 6 pm local time Friday night. This was in the summer of 2016 in the big truck pulling a 48' flatbed with 45,000 lbs worth of tarped pallets of onions I loaded in Avenal, CA Wednesday afternoon. I've also had countless 1100-1300 mile trips hauling cattle out of eastern Montana down to Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Panhandle of Texas unloading and getting a lot of empty miles back up to Montana done before bed. Two trips from the Seattle area to Cleveland, Ohio both times loaded with steel with one 4-5 hour nap at the pull off scale there by Forsyth, MT off I-94 No I'm not ############ you, no im not a super trucker, and NO I don't do any drugs whatsoever. No adderals, toothpicks, etc. Was going through a rough patch with my girlfriend at the time and she moved back to her mothers house in Cleveland, OH. Haha I really loved that girl. You either have it in this industry or you don't. And I've worked my way up to that level of being able to do those kind of miles safely, I know my limits and when it's time to pull er over and catch a nap.
