Anyways, I did droven about 7:50 minutes once going down I-80 through Nebraska and part of Wyoming. Not close to what you old school drivers have done in the past, but for me it was a lot. I hit 677 miles that day. It was easy, nice straight interstate. I parked at a ma-&-pa truck stop in Wyoming, took almost an hour break. Then hit the road again for the final few hours. I was pretty tired after that one.

My longest nonstop, not counting stopping for fuel and to squirt the dirt, was Phoenix, AZ to Post Falls, ID, somewhere just shy of 1400 miles. Second one was just east of St Cloud, MN to Post Falls, ID. A shade under 1300 miles. I've done several 1000-1100 mile runs, but I was a lot younger (and dumber) then. Oh, and before anybody asks, I had no chemical help beyond coffee. Red Bull hadn't quite made it to the US.

In 1978 the day after I graduated high school, I drove 48 hours non stop from California to Ohio to visit my girlfriend at that time. I spent my first 2 days there sleeping, too tired even for sex.

Long extended runs use to be very common. Not so much anymore. Back in the day we used to do West to East to West turnarounds solo in 7 days, not anymore. And no it never was safe.

That would be like admitting to breaking the law....
Even if it was a long time ago...Not gonna do that.
Besides I can't compete with you guys anyway.

I ran straight 11s a lot before the 30 min break became a 'thing'

Seven hours. Then I had to take my government mandated thirty minute break.
